WhatsApp Media Assist is built with privacy as the core foundation. **All media operations are executed strictly inside your local browser sandbox.**
No images, documents, chats, or URLs are ever collected, read, or transmitted off your device.
🛡️ Data Processing & Collection
We believe in absolute transparency. The extension collects zero data from you:
- No Media Transmission: All crops, rotations, merges, and target-size compressions are calculated locally. No media is sent to any external server.
- No Activity Tracking: We do not log click behaviors, webpage history, keyboard inputs, or extension usage statistics.
- No Telemetry or Ads: There are no third-party cookies, tracking pixels, analytic trackers, or advertising injections.
📋 Browser Permissions
The extension requests only the minimum set of permissions necessary to function:

Used to save your custom presets, settings configurations, and automation workflows locally on your own machine.

Allows the extension to inject the visual editing controls toolbar onto the WhatsApp Web media viewer screen. It does not read your private texts, contacts, or chat lists.
☕ Third-Party Integrations
The extension contains an optional link to Ko-fi for supporting development. Donation payments are securely processed externally by Ko-fi, and the extension never stores or receives your billing or card details.
